River City Bank celebrated its 50th Anniversary at Golden 1 Center, with customers, board members, and employees past and present. Both the bank and the Kelly Foundation were founded by Jon Kelly, so in honor of this historic celebration, the Kelly Foundation selected five organizations to receive $100K surprise grants, along with six organizations who received $50K grants earlier in the month.

At the Gala, Shawn Devlin shared the vision and mission of some of our donation recipients –organizations we support which in turn enrich lives, make positive changes, and provide substantial assistance in our communities every day. These recipients are amongst the many charitable organizations in the Sacramento area and throughout California that are doing amazing work in our community. They have demonstrated to the Kelly Foundation through our quarterly grant giving that they are aligned with our values, are competent, socially and fiscally responsible, and make a substantial commitment to those in greatest need in our greater community.
