About Meals on Wheels Yolo County
Meals on Wheels is a movement creating healthier outcomes for Yolo County seniors, prioritizing nutritious food security and socialization in our cities and rural communities. In 2024, MOW Yolo is nourishing and engaging more struggling seniors in more Yolo County neighborhoods than ever before in their almost 50-year history with: fresh, local nutritious food, medically-tailored meals, expanded congregate dining options, more rural meal access.
Eat Well, Age Well Yolo County
Funding from the Kelly Foundation will allow the Eat Well, Age Well Program ensure meals for more Yolo County seniors in underserved neighborhoods and rural locations, meeting diverse dietary needs with fresh/local foods. The project will transform the lives of aging adults to support healthy outcomes and aging in place.
